Navratri has special significance in Hinduism. According to the scriptures, there are four Navratri in a year. But mainly Sharad Navratri and Chaitra Navratri are widely celebrated. Apart from this Navratri occurs in Magh and Ashadha, which is known as Gupt Navratri. Generally, Tantric activities take place in Gupt Navratri. Common devotees can also recite worship in Gupt Navratri to please the mother. Basant Panchami will be celebrated on the fifth day of Gupt Navratri.

Significance of Gupt Navratri
Gupt Navratri is mainly performed by tantriks, and sadhus to please Maa Durga. It is believed that in this Navratri, Tantriks worship 10 Mahavidyas to please them. It is also considered to be the time of attaining secret siddhis and tantric siddhis and it is also said that the more secret the worship of Maa Durga is kept, the more her fruit is obtained.
10 Mahavidyas to be worshiped in Gupt Navratri
- Maa Kali
Such a story is prevalent that at the time of the battle with Mahishasura, the anger of the mother had crossed its limit. His anger appeared from his head in the form of Kali with 10 arms. Born out of Durga’s anger, she was given the name Kali, because her body was black in color.
- Tara Devi
Mata Taradevi is considered to be the goddess of Tantric powers. Goddess Tara is worshiped as the one who removes all sufferings. When the dead body of Goddess Sati was dissolved by Shri Narayan with his chakra, where her eyes had fallen in West Bengal, today there is a Tarapith. Tarapith is also known as Nayantara and there the mother is worshiped in the form of Goddess Tara. - Tripura Sundari

Mata Kamala Devi is a form of Maa Lakshmi. The devotees who remember the mother with a true heart, there is no shortage of wealth and opulence. Lakshmi is always seated on a lotus flower. That is why she was named Kamala.
How to worship Gupt Navratri
Like Sharad Navratri and Chaitri Navratri, Kalash is established in Gupt Navratri. Durga Chalisa or Durga Saptashati should be recited at both the times along with the establishment of the Kalash. Offer food to the mother and do the aarti of the mother after the recitation. It is considered very auspicious to offer cloves and Batase to the mother during Gupt Navratri. Offer red flowers and chunri to Maa Durga. It is believed that during Gupt Navratri, Tantriks and Aghori worship Maa Durga in the middle of the night, which gives them siddhi.
